Hosting and email for a painter, with before and after photos of your work
Paint is chosen by eye, and so is a painter. Anyone who wants a wall, window frame or a whole facade done scrolls through photos first and lingers on the work they like. Your site shows how it looked and how it turned out. We host that site, set up your email on your own domain and migrate an existing site for free.

Your site as a painter
Photos do the work, you put the rest around them
-
Before and after side by side
A window frame with flaking paint and the same frame a week later. Two photos side by side show what you do in a second, without you having to explain anything.
-
Photos that do not drag down loading time
Painting work is imagery, and heavy images make a site slow on a phone. We host in a way that your gallery opens while someone is still scrolling.
-
Indoors, outdoors and whatever else you do
Separate walls and ceilings from window frames and facades, and mention wallpapering or spray work separately if you do it. Each type of work gets its own heading.
-
A form for a viewing appointment
Ask for the place, the type of work and a few photos of the space. Then you can already give a first impression without a viewing visit.
-
Your work area and an email address with your name
A line with the places where you work and an email address with your own business name. Customers who entrust their home to you look at that.

On the front page
The first scroll of a painter's site
This is where someone decides whether to look further. A big, clear before and after image works better than a long text.
- One big before and after image
- Types of work: indoors, outdoors, window frames
- Button to send photos of the space
- WhatsApp for a short question
- A short line about how you work
- Places where you paint, as text
- A row of projects with one sentence each
- Your email address and business details at the bottom
An example
An example: a painter with great photos on a slow site
A painter has photographed every project for years and put everything on his site. That is now hundreds of full-size photos, and the gallery takes half a minute to open on a phone. Anyone coming from Google drops out before the first image appears.
He asks us for help over WhatsApp. We migrate the site for free to new hosting, with SSL and daily backups. His email still runs through a free address, so we set that up on his own domain. If he wants the photos made smaller, the Changes add-on covers that.
Email on your own domain
A colour card and a quote from the same address
Many painters send quotes, colour advice and photos by email. When that comes from your own domain, the customer sees straight away who it belongs to and the attachment does not get stuck in the junk folder.
You can create an address per person or per type of message. We set them up and you read them in the app you already use.

Questions
Questions from painters
How do I show before and after photos well on my site?
Put them side by side from the same angle and in the same light, with a short sentence underneath about what you did. Do not use too many photos per project. Three or four good ones say more than twenty loose ones.
My gallery loads very slowly, is that down to the hosting?
Often it is the file size of the photos, sometimes the hosting. We look at both when we migrate. A smaller version of each photo helps right away, and you can have that done through the Changes add-on.
Can customers send me photos of their wall?
Yes. A form with an upload field or a WhatsApp button does that. That way a painter sees the state of a frame or wall before the first appointment.
Is my email already on my own domain, or does that still need doing?
Look at the address you send quotes from. If it ends with a free provider, it can look better. We set up an address on your own domain and take old email along if you like.
Does my site need to be rebuilt for my hosting?
No. Your site is already there, built by you or an agency, and we migrate it for free as it is. Only if you want to change something yourself do we discuss what is needed.
