Can I put before and after photos of treatments on my site?
That is up to you and your client. Always ask for permission and keep a record of it. Technically it is no problem: the photos are simply served from our servers. Keep the files small so the page stays quick.
How do I get a gift voucher online?
On WordPress you can use a gift voucher plugin, or you make a page with an explanation and a form. Both run with us without trouble. An existing online shop setup is migrated along for free.
Does my salon site need a privacy statement?
Yes, as soon as you collect details through a form or a booking module. Put the statement on a page of its own and link to it from the form. The SSL certificate that secures your site is something we take care of.
My site has been slow since I added more photos, can that be fixed?
Usually, yes. Often the original files are too big. Send us the link on WhatsApp, and we will check whether it is down to the images or the settings, and what a quick fix looks like.
Can I switch from a web agency to you without my salon going offline?
Yes. We copy everything first, you test on the new address and only then you switch the nameservers. The old site stays up until that moment, and your email moves along.
