What Lovable produces

Lovable builds a React project that you sync with GitHub or download as a zip (the zip download needs a paid Lovable subscription). Older projects use React with Vite and build to static files in the dist folder, which we put online directly.

Projects created since 13 May 2026 use TanStack Start, and that needs a server. If @tanstack/react-start is in your package.json, get in touch with us for a custom offer. Lovable's database and login stay with Lovable, and your site on our hosting keeps using them.

Your site runs on yourname.com with SSL, instead of on a lovable.app address.

You keep your code

You sync with GitHub or download the code, and the files stay yours.

Help with the switch

We put the files online and your old site stays available until you switch.

How to put your Lovable website online

  1. Get your code

    Connect your project to GitHub or download the code. Check in package.json whether your project uses React with Vite.

  2. Build the site

    Run npm install and npm run build. The files are then in the dist folder.

  3. Order and send us the files

    Choose Website, say that your site was made with AI and send us the folder or the link to your GitHub repository. We put it online for free and make sure all pages work.

  4. Connect your domain

    You change the nameservers once. We tell you when. Then add your new address to the allowed addresses of your login at Lovable.

  • Daily backups. You restore them in your portal, or we do it for you.
  • Email on your own domain. Choose Mail or Website + Mail for mailboxes that work in Outlook, Apple Mail and on your phone.

  • Free migration. Send us your zip or GitHub link. We put your site online and your old site stays available until you switch.

Questions about Lovable and hosting

Can I move my Lovable website to my own domain?

Yes, if your project uses React with Vite and so builds to static files. We put the files online on your own domain, with SSL and daily backups.

How do I know whether my project needs a server?

Open package.json. If @tanstack/react-start is in there, your project needs a server. Send us a WhatsApp message and we make a custom offer.

Will my login and database keep working?

Yes, they stay with Lovable. You add the new address of your site to the allowed addresses, and you set the environment variables again for the build.

Do I need a paid subscription at Lovable?

The GitHub connection works on all subscriptions. The zip download needs a paid subscription at Lovable.

What does it cost?

The Website plan costs €9 per month or €90 per year, excluding VAT. Migration is free and WhatsApp help is included.
