Questions from bakers
Does my bakery need an online shop to sell bread online?
Not necessarily. For cakes and pastries an order form is often enough. If you want customers to pay up front and collect their bread, a WordPress online shop fits. We host both and migrate an existing shop for free.
How do I put my daily range on the site without editing it every day?
Put a fixed range on the page and add a short line with what is extra this week. You update that once a week. If you would like someone else to do it, the Changes add-on takes it on.
Can I put allergy information on my site?
You can, as plain text at the product or on a separate page. Keep it short and up to date. If you are not sure how to word it, have a colleague or a trade association check it.
How do I get my email from my old provider to you?
We copy your mailboxes along in the migration, with all messages. You will not notice a thing: the old email stays reachable until the switch is complete. After that everything runs through your own domain.
My website shows small letters on a phone, how do I fix that?
That is usually a theme setting. Send us a screenshot on WhatsApp, and we will check whether a small adjustment is enough. Sometimes the font size only needs to go up.
My site was built by a web agency, can I move the hosting away from them?
Yes, they need to give you the files and the database, and we transfer them for free. If your contract still runs, the Switch deal covers up to 9 remaining months.
